Ted Celeste

Ted Celeste is a former Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 24 from 2007 to 2013. Celeste was a candidate for the United States Senate in 2000, and for the United States House of Representatives in 2012.

Celeste's professional experience includes serving as president of the National Housing Corporation in Cleveland; campaign comptroller; president of New Town Housing; Ohio campaign director and regional coordinator for Carter for President; assistant to finance director for The Ohio State University; bureau chief for Ohio State Department of Public Welfare; teacher for the Peace Corps in Fiji; and realtor.

Celeste earned a B.A. in Psychology from the College of Wooster. He and his wife, Bobbie, have two children, Christina and Liz.
