The Nuclear and Renewable Generation Fund Programs

The Ohio Air Quality Development Authority is the program administrator of the Nuclear and Renewable Generation Fund Programs as prescribed in Amended House Bill 6 by the 133rd General Assembly. The programs provide credits issued for each megawatt-hour of electricity generated by qualifying nuclear or renewable energy resources, as defined in Section 3706.43. The price for each credit paid is nine dollars. Credits will be issued and tracked by OAQDA using the Generation Attribute Tracking System (GATS).
